The ladnepodatki.pl UoP Calculator is a comprehensive tool for calculating net (take-home) and gross salary on an employment contract. It lets you check how much you will actually receive after deducting taxes and ZUS contributions and what the total employer cost is.
The calculator automatically computes income tax, ZUS contributions, and other charges, taking into account individual settings such as workplace location, taxpayer age, and optional PPK and IKZE contributions. Calculations are based on current regulations and reference amounts.
Results are presented as monthly and annual summaries covering gross and net salary, taxes, ZUS contributions, employer costs, and other useful information (e.g. tax base, deductible costs). Our calculator helps you better understand the structure of employment contract compensation and tax complexities.
Main features of the UoP calculator:
- Gross and net salary: calculating net (take-home) salary from gross salary and vice versa
- Income tax: automatic income tax calculation using the 12/32% tax scale with the tax-free amount (30,000 PLN per year)
- ZUS contributions: automatic calculation of all employee ZUS contributions (pension, disability, sickness, health) and employer ZUS contributions
- Deductible costs: automatic inclusion of deductible costs (250 PLN for work at place of residence, 300 PLN for work outside place of residence)
- 50% deductible costs for creative work: option to apply 50% deductible costs for creative work with the ability to set the salary percentage from which this cost is calculated. 26 vacation days per year are excluded from the 50% deductible costs calculation.
- Zero PIT: option to use the relief for people under 26 (zero PIT)
- PPK (Employee Capital Plans): calculating employee PPK contributions (2-4%) and employer PPK contributions (1.5-4%) including their impact on net salary and employer costs
- Joint settlement with spouse: tax optimization through joint PIT filing
- IKZE (Individual Retirement Security Account): calculating tax savings from IKZE contributions (annual limit: 11,304 PLN in 2026)
- 4+ family relief: tax relief for people raising at least 4 children (minors, studying up to age 25, or on benefit/pension). Having more than 4 children does not increase the relief amount
- Return relief: tax relief for people who moved their tax residence to Poland after paying taxes abroad for at least 3 years (tax exemption on income up to 85,528 PLN per year)
- Working seniors relief: tax relief for people who reached retirement age (60 for women, 65 for men), do not receive a pension or disability benefit, and still work or run a business (tax exemption on income up to 85,528 PLN per year)
- Employer costs: detailed presentation of total employer cost, including all ZUS and PPK contributions
- Government proposal simulation (II tax scale bracket 12/32%): optionally check how calculations would change if the first tax bracket threshold were raised from 120,000 PLN to 140,000 PLN — use the "Check" toggle in the banner at the top of the form. By default, the calculator uses current thresholds.

The calculator has an advanced tooltip system. They appear when you hover (or tap on touch devices) over specific calculator elements. They contain information about calculation bases, deductions, reference amounts, and other important details. We encourage you to use them to better understand how the calculator works and how it performed the calculations.
All calculator computations are performed locally in your web browser. Your data is not sent to the server. We do not share or use your data.
The calculator automatically saves your settings in the browser. This lets you return to your calculations at any time. The RESET FORM button clears all settings from the browser and lets you start over.
We make every effort to ensure the calculator provides the most accurate results based on current tax law. We use known and current reference amounts for ZUS contributions and taxes. When reference amounts are unknown, the calculator uses estimated values based on historical data (values are shown in tooltips). Calculator results are estimates and do not replace professional tax calculations. For more accurate results, we recommend consulting an accountant or tax advisor.
